The Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI COE) is responsible for delivering AI-first, enterprise-scale analytics that power data-driven decision-making across Microsoft’s Partner and Seller ecosystem. Our mission is to transform fragmented data into a single, trusted source of truth, enabling actionable insights, automation, and intelligent experiences.
The successful candidate for this role will lead the Security BI, data analytics & insights for the team globally, supporting leadership as well as Corporate & field teams, driving next level intelligent insights and predictive analytics around the business, led and scaled through AI across multi-modal interfaces. This role will also partner directly with the other members of our BI COE Team to deliver integrated, AI-led insights solutions, not proliferating or creating duplicative, isolated, or “more” interfaces in isolation.
You will play a role in shaping the next generation of AI-powered BI solutions, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and semantic modelling to deliver scalable, high-performance, and governed analytics experiences.
Responsibilities
- Interpret complex business problems and requirements, translating them into capability needs, then building/ enabling AI-ready semantic layers that support natural language querying, automation, and predictive insights to enable AI-driven insights, Copilot scenarios, and intelligent analytics experiences leveraging Fabric, Power BI, GHCP, Cowork, CLI and more to solve these business problems
- Enable AI-led predictive analytics capabilities and data insights for sellers, managers, and leadership to understand actionable insights and how to best use it to achieve measurable results. (What they need to know, Why they need to know it, and What they need to do about it)
- Integrate and work with BI COE team members and stakeholders to identify, understand, and prioritize business and information needs
- Utilize/deliver standardized tools and reporting which enable speed, efficiency, and scale in the business to accelerate the standardized business operations vs. isolated, disconnected, or duplicative solutions
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities and solve for root cause business issues to locate and correct problems
- Drive adoption of AI-first principles across BI COE analytics and reporting solutions.

Qualifications

- Experience in:
- Semantic modeling (Power BI / Tabular / DAX)
- Data architecture and dimensional modeling (star schema, OSOT principles)
- Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Direct Lake, pipelines, OneLake)
- Power BI (dataset optimization, reporting, governance)
- Experience building analytics solutions at scale.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance framework.
- Experience in Microsoft Sales ecosystem.
- Experience with AI-driven BI scenarios (Copilot, predictive analytics, data agents).
- Experience integrating multiple enterprise datasets into unified reporting models.
- Experience operating in matrixed, cross-functional environments and influence stakeholders.
- Storytelling skills with experience to translating data into business impact.
Business Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Skills Required
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 3+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 4+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
