OUR OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Business Analyst bridges business stakeholders and technical teams by documenting current-state business logic, defining future-state requirements, validating migrated outputs, and supporting business adoption.
YOU WILL
- Conduct workshops with business users, data owners, and technical teams.
- Document current-state reports, KPIs, business rules, manual processes, and data pain points.
- Identify business-critical reports, dashboards, datasets, and regulatory outputs.
- Define future-state functional requirements for BI, DWH, MDM, data quality, and governance.
- Support report rationalization by identifying what to keep, migrate, consolidate, or retire.
- Document source-to-target mappings from a business perspective.
- Define KPI definitions, metric logic, data ownership, and business glossary terms.
- Prepare UAT scenarios, test cases, and business validation scripts.
- Coordinate user sign-off for migrated reports and target-state datasets.
- Maintain requirement traceability from current architecture to target architecture.
Requirements
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED
- Strong business analysis experience in data, BI, DWH, or transformation programs.
- Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or regulated environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of reporting, KPIs, data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
- Ability to document complex business rules and translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Good SQL understanding is preferred.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Visio, or similar documentation tools
