We are seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support our Property & Casualty IT organization within the Core Underwriting and Policy Administration domain. This role partners closely with underwriting and operations teams to translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of P&C insurance lines of business and the end‑to‑end policy lifecycle, along with strong analytical and requirements‑gathering skills. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance teams to define, implement, and deliver enhancements to our policy administration systems.
This position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who can work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative delivery environment.

To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site a minimum of two days a week, with the potential to work three days remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday and Thursday but will be determined by business needs.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Analyzes business issues and defines requirements to design IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
Collaborates with program manager, project manager and/or project teams to gather information, model systems requirements, and document specifications.
Configures and maintain enterprise applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responds to application service requests and troubleshoots issues with clear documentation and communication.
Prepares technical specifications.
Scrum master – Servant leader ensuring daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and refinements are scheduled and occur consistently as the team progresses through the sprint. Removes blockers and impediments that prevent the team from meeting sprint goals.
Performs Root Cause Analysis of production incidents and ability to resolve them correctly and quickly while improving / sustaining the system overall health and performance.
Writes and analyzes XPath queries for XML data.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of related experience required
Prior experience within the P&C industry with deep knowledge in the insurance domain.
Strong policy life cycle experience, and prior experience with SaaS policy administration vendors.
Strong analytical skills with ability to gather and analyze data to driven decision-making.
Prior experience with Agile methodology while using Rally or similar software.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and business relationship skills.
Ability to use AI-enabled tools to support day-to-day work, and hands on experience applying generative AI or AI-assisted tools.
Proficiency in enterprise platforms and experience with Oracle SQL, MS SQL, reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Informatica) and other scripting languages.
Experience with Snowflake, MarkLogic, data warehouses, Humio dashboards, and GitHub.
