Key Responsibilities
- Acting as primary liaison between the cross-functional teams and all the stakeholders. The person in this role must make sure the information flow is quick and clear so that there is no misinterpretation.
- Communicate with all stakeholders and comes up with right KPIs for the project success.
- Drives ROI and Values.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for the application of generative AI solutions.
- Being responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Development Team. Take input from all stakeholders funnels through him or her to guide in the creation and prioritization of the Product Backlog.
- Providing clear understanding of what those items mean (in both function and value) aids in maximizing the efforts of the Development Team.
- Works closely with Product owners and technical leads to ensure clean and clear requirements and smooth delivery.
- Maintaining team backlog – With input from TechLead/Architect/Engineering (Development) Team and other stakeholders.
- The Business Analyst reviews and reprioritizes the backlog as part of the prep work for Sprint Planning, including coordination of dependencies with other Pos (project offices).
- Communicates story detail and priorities and ensures the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan.
- Analyze business requirements and capture user stories using JIRA.
- Ensure that AI solutions adhere to regulatory guidelines and BMS standards, addressing any compliance issues.
- Experience in Visualize the Business Process Flows using Visualization Tools - MS Visio or Lucid Chart etc.,
- Work closely with developers as part of the agile development team to translate user stories to working applications.
- Manage user acceptance testing, training, and change management associated with roll out of automation solutions.
- Prepare Techno - Functional User Manuals for end users.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, user stories, and other documentation as required by BMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and software validation processes.
- Provide functional guidance to developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions are implemented correctly and are maintained effectively throughout their lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and act as a catalyst and champion for innovation in Life Sciences Industry
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of hands -on experience in business analysis, process mapping, solution development and delivery for AI & ML Technologies in Automation
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge in Pharma Document Generation
- Knowledge of Python and cloud services is must.
- Real- time experience in Analyzing AI/ML/ Gen AI solutions desired (e.g., Data science projects, AI, ML, NLP, Generative AI (OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI and other LLMs))
- Domain (Pharma background must) - Possessing general awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements (e.g., privacy regulations, GxP) impacting the business, and ensuring solution requirements include appropriate key points.
- Strong understanding of generative AI concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Any of the Certifications like - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner will be good along with exposure on Business Analysis

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
