About the role- 12 Months, Fixed-Term contract


Estia Health has prioritised the delivery of several important projects supporting transformation and compliance outcomes. Using your exceptional inter-personal, communication and collaboration skills, you will provide business analysis services and support to deliver successful projects and improved outcomes for our internal and external customers. This is a hands-on role working with stakeholders to identify and implement required functionality and improvements with the flexibility to move between strategic analysis and detailed

delivery activities.


In this role you will : -

Facilitate Solution Definition

-Through consultation and facilitation with key stakeholders:

  • Analyse and document current state processes, systems and data integration
  • Deep-dive and gather required information to develop detailed process flows, functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, data flows & interface specifications, reports, etc.
  • Develop integration requirements and specifications, including source-to-target mappings, field definitions, transformation rules, validation rules, interface dependencies and error-handling requirements.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from business need through design, build, testing and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities, process/system enhancements and suggest creative solutions
  • Contribute to design of solution and process definition, consider future needs and growth, challenge ideas and processes respectfully for best outcome
  • Document future state processes, systems and data integration
  • Analyse data structures, interfaces and system behaviours, working closely with technical teams and vendors.
  • Use process and data analysis to identify root causes rather than documenting symptoms.

-Present understandings and key findings in clear, easy to consume outputs

-Research legislation for requirements and industry information for knowledge and answers to problems.


Analyse Impacts


  • Assess how initiatives fit into broader processes and identify upstream/downstream impacts. Identify change impacts resulting from new initiative and work with project manager and change manager (where appointed, depending on size of initiative) to establish sound change management plans

Contribute to other project activities

  • Assist in developing project approaches, estimating timelines and budgets for projects
  • Participate in and support the planning, preparation and execution of quality assurance and verification activities such as developing test scenarios, contribute to user acceptance testing, validation of integration, data migration, exception analysis and issue investigation
  • Contribute to tenders, statement of work, evaluate vendor proposals and other vendor engagement activities
  • Provide input on progress, issues and risks to the Project Managers
  • Engage Project Manager(s) in issue resolution as necessary
  • Support implementation, cutover, hypercare and transition to BAU.
  • Work flexibly across multiple initiatives, adapting the level of analysis and documentation to delivery risk, complexity and pace.
