Position Summary:

This is a full-time role with flexibility for some remote work. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and communicating with stakeholders. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Owners, scrum and underwriting team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize business processes.

Business Analyst & Scrum Master Responsibilities


  • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into clear, implementation-ready user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and Product Owner to gather, document, and validate requirements
  • Manage and maintain a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog aligned to business goals
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and drive disciplined, predictable sprint delivery
  • Collaborate with Dev and QA teams to explain requirements, resolve queries, and ensure smooth and timely sprint execution
  • Review test cases and scenarios to ensure coverage and alignment with business requirements
  • Identify, track, and remove blockers or impediments impacting team progress
  • Support end-to-end delivery lifecycle including requirement analysis, development support, QA coordination, UAT, and release readiness
  • Define UAT scenarios and coordinate UAT execution with Product Owner and business stakeholders
  • Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics, ensuring transparency through regular status updates
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable process enhancements
  • Manage production support, defects, and change requests raised by users, ensuring timely resolution and communication
  • Coordinate product demos with stakeholders to showcase delivered features and business value
  • Support release planning, defect triage, and overall production readiness activities
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and high-quality delivery

Qualifications


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business analysis
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in documenting business processes and requirements
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setup
  • Experience in insurance domain preferred but not mandatory
  • Prior Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
