Senior Business Analyst – LAS

The Expert will use her/his deep domain knowledge to execute a diverse range of leadership/talent consulting projects. This individual will play a key role in partnering with other members of the Leadership Advisory Services (LAS) team and other service line client teams across industries and functions to sell and execute leadership advisory work which includes executive assessments, development, culture profiles, team effective reviews and organization transformation. The role is fully client-facing. They will develop complex business development presentations that require new or innovative thinking. They will play an autonomous role alongside a more senior consultant on client mandates. This could take many forms, including leading a project work stream, which includes more project management and team leadership skills, or as a member of a large project team executing assessments alongside other consultants, which requires sophisticated interviewing skills and thought leadership. All types of roles rely on the Expert to sometimes interact with the client autonomously and always in a mature and collaborative way.

As an experienced hire, this individual is expected to lead by example and act as an informal mentor and coach to both junior and senior members of team they work with throughout the organization – many of which will only have limited exposure to advisory solutions outside of executive search. At times, the Expert will serve as an individual contributor and, at other times, they will assume a team leadership role depending on the project requirements. This individual has no formal direct reports.

We provide a comprehensive onboarding and training program for every new hire, including formal mentors within the Leadership Advisory team and the local office. The Expert should expect to spend 10-30% of their time traveling, at either internal or client sites. Travel schedules are highly variable but always known well in advance.


Requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant of experience in Industry, Consulting or Research with knowledge of the Industry at large, its competitive landscape including the latest trends.
  • Being able to manage a dynamic and evolving process by actively contributing to process optimization along the way
  • Structured & diligent, data affinity.
  • Being able to work under high pressure.
  • Experience of working on international engagements in a professional services environment with an understanding of Global market.
  • Clear and confident communication skills both in person and on the phone are essential.
  • A self-starter with learning agility, engaging remotely, thought partnering, critical thinking, eye for detail, conceptual thinking.
  • Contributing to our larger global LAS community by organizing, participating and leveraging existing trainings, engagements and conferences.
  • Peer mentoring- Being an advisor and mentor for others in the team across the board, showing true apprenticeship and being generous in sharing learnings and success.
