Job Description

  • Lead the development of high-quality, accurate analysis and insights for customer disruption initiatives.

The Senior Business Analyst, Disruption Recovery will drive the identification of effective solutions, define a comprehensive set of requirements, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. You will identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, and service delivery across key disruption recovery initiatives and operational capabilities. You will take the lead in gathering and managing requirements, utilising your analytical expertise to translate complex business scenarios into clear functional and technical specifications.

This role requires a cross-functional approach, ensuring successful delivery of projects from inception through to implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong project delivery experience, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in requirements gathering, documentation, change management, and the implementation of system developments. Experience in testing, data analysis, and reporting will also be key to success in this role.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • 4+ years' experience in business analysis roles, supporting the delivery of operational, digital, or customer experience initiatives.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, or equivalent
    experience
  • Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies would be highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of the project delivery lifecycle
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly understand complex problems and lead
    problem-solving activities.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, including potential roadblocks to successful delivery
  • A background in business process or digital/technology design
  • Experience with Amadeus products and airline operational systems would be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently while fostering teamwork, collaboration, and accountability
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality business and technical documentation
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to communicate vision, priorities, and business outcomes effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes
