Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, the Senior Business Analyst will be expected to elicit and own requirements for our Ecommerce Replatform project. This role requires experience of the full project lifecycle of an Ecommerce Replatform project using third party delivery teams.
The ideal candidate should be strong on the customer-facing aspects of a website (UX, checkout, personalisation, content management), understand technical dependencies and able to clearly communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Requirement Management
- Lead workshops to define and elaborate business requirements for an Ecommerce solution e.g. UX, customer journeys, merchandising, checkout, personalisation.
- Critically evaluate requirements, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish business needs from user requests.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and help prioritise requirements across functional areas.
Technical Collaboration
- Act as primary BA interface between internal IT teams and external vendors for front-end requirements.
- Participate in joint technical sessions on cross-domain impact, logical data flows, and integration points.
- Translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and challenge vendor solutions.
- Understand backend systems (OMS, PIM, Inventory, Pricing) sufficiently to assess front-end feasibility and impact.
Delivery & Documentation
- Produce functional specifications, wireframe support, process flows, user journey maps, and API contract documentation.
- Obtain stakeholder sign-off and present to technical teams.
- Ensure requirements are understood by development/QA teams; facilitate clarification sessions as needed.
- Support UAT planning, go-live activities, and provide training materials.

Skills & Experience Required:
· Experience of an Ecommerce Replatform from vendor selection to go-live, with proven storefront and backend requirement experience
· Strong technical acumen to discuss store fronts, headless/composable architecture and front-end/backend interactions with architects and vendors
· Understanding of typical ecommerce system integrations (OMS, PIM, inventory, pricing) to identify dependencies and assess impacts
· Vendor management experience acting as business/technical bridge during configuration/customisation of the new solution
· Possess clear communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for both business and technical audiences
· Full project lifecycle experience (Agile and Waterfall) with strong scope management disciplines
· BSc or Business Analysis qualification (IIBA, BCS or equivalent)
