The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will provide consulting expertise to clients delivering large-scale Cards transformation initiatives across the banking sector. Drawing on your experience in Cards & Payments, you will help clients define business priorities, optimise operating models, and translate complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions that support successful transformation.
Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams, you will bring a strategic consulting perspective to business analysis, solution design, and transformation planning. A strong background in Cards platforms is essential, while experience with VisionPLUS (Visiona) or similar enterprise card processing solutions will be considered a distinct advantage.
What You'll Do
- Partner with clients to shape and deliver business analysis for strategic Cards transformation programmes, ensuring business objectives are aligned with practical implementation approaches.
- Analyse business capabilities, operating models, and processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and support the successful adoption of modern Cards solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to define business requirements, resolve complex challenges, and build alignment across business and technology teams.
- Assess the impact of business and technology change, identifying key risks, dependencies, and organisational considerations to support informed decision-making throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted consulting partner, providing business analysis expertise and helping clients navigate complex transformation initiatives from discovery through implementation.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering Cards & Payments transformation initiatives within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of the Cards domain, including card issuing, acquiring, authorisation, clearing, settlement, and transaction processing.
- Experience working with enterprise Cards platforms; exposure to VisionPLUS (Visiona) is highly desirable but not essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and requirements analysis skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across both business and technology teams.
