We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Cards & Regulatory Projects) to join our team and lead business analysis activities across complex banking transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will drive the successful delivery of regulatory, card scheme, and digital banking projects by translating business and regulatory requirements into effective solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure regulatory compliance, successful project delivery, and alignment with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business analysis activities for card scheme, regulatory, and digital transformation initiatives
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors
- Gather, analyse, and document business and regulatory requirements
- Translate regulatory and card scheme mandates into business capabilities and implementation plans
- Manage and prioritise Agile backlogs using Azure DevOps
- Maintain requirements documentation, traceability, and governance throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with EMV 3DS standards, payment regulations, and banking requirements
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and deployment readiness activities
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements review sessions
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests
- Prepare executive reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking, Cards, or Payments
- Proven experience delivering regulatory and card scheme initiatives
- Strong experience in business requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery environments
- Experience managing Agile backlogs using Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of Cards & Payments ecosystems
- Knowledge of EMV 3DS standards and payment regulations
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience with Jira, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office
- Experience leading business analysis teams or workstreams
- Experience delivering digital banking initiatives
- Experience working on large-scale banking transformation programmes
- Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)
- Have a strong background in banking, cards, and regulatory projects
- Can confidently lead business analysis activities across complex initiatives

- Have a structured and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
