As a Senior Brand Specialist, you’ll help bring Best Buy’s brand to life by leading key initiatives from strategy through execution. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work independently while partnering closely with the Brand Manager to deliver work that is thoughtful, impactful, and aligned with the Best Buy brand.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the Greater Vancouver area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in-person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:
Lead end-to-end execution of Best Buy Express marketing initiatives, including annual planning, campaign development, and stakeholder alignment.
Manage brand partnerships, activations, sponsorships, and special projects.
Develop marketing briefs and partner with creative, media, retail marketing, content, digital media, and external agencies to bring campaigns to life.
Own project timelines, budgets, approvals, and campaign execution.
Represent the Brand team in cross-functional meetings and working teams.
Analyze campaign results, develop recommendations, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support development of annual brand plans and go-to-market strategies.
Act as a brand steward, ensuring work aligns with brand standards and strategic objectives.
What we're looking for:
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced marketing or retail environment, including strategic planning and brief writing.
3+ years of project management experience.
Strong marketing acumen with the ability to translate business objectives, customer insights, and brand strategy into actionable plans.
Demonstrated ownership and accountability, with the ability to independently drive projects forward and follow through.
Skilled at building trust, influencing stakeholders, and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
Strategic thinker who understands broader business and brand impacts beyond immediate campaign execution.
Highly organized project leader able to manage multiple priorities, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, AI tools, and project management platforms such as Workfront, Asana, Monday, or Jira.
Experience using marketing reporting and analytics tools, with strong presentation development and storytelling skills.
Experience with telecom, consumer electronics, or national retail brands is a bonus.
