The Role

JOB PURPOSE

You will be responsible for Deodorants category development & consumer-driven strategic direction in CZ&SK. You will define & secure portfolio architecture, pricing, innovation pipeline and & media strategy on category and brand level, in line with budget management. Drive category performance and target delivery management of Deodorant brands in CZSK. Drive brand love agenda at all touchpoints, internal and external.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Builds deep, holistic consumer understanding of the Brand/Category
  • Contributes to the development of a 3-year Brand/Category Strategy set by Category Marketing Manager
  • Contributes to annual activity plans incl. major product launches, strategic purpose campaigns, digital approach and brand activation master packs; contributes to development of financial plans
  • Leadership – leading one direct report
  • Lead the yearly Category and/or Brand growth plan setting within IBP cycle in synergy with the category long term plan:
    • Develop and execute yearly activity plans including product launches and relaunches, brand communications and brand activations.
    • Contribute to the development of financial plans, create BCs together with Finance, monitor Brand P&L.
    • Cooperate with Supply Chain. Provide assumptions for long-term volume forecasting and ensure a harmonized and cost-effective SKU portfolio
    • Provides input for monthly SOP process during activity plan meeting & cash-up process (e.g. BMI & marketing activities)
    • Ensure launch materials availability: trade selling story, trade samples, Key Visual, POS guideline, etc.
  • Development & Execution of the yearly brand communication strategies including:
    • Yearly media briefs, development of the final communication strategy
    • Lead both offline and online tactical plan briefs and approvals for campaigns
    • Coordinate media asset creation/mutation, and delivery to media channels
    • Monitor and react quickly to competitor's moves (promotions, new product launches, etc.)
    • Continuous monitoring of brand performance (Financial, Nielsen, GFK, Kantar)
    • Managing brand’s digital platforms: coordinating website, social media channels.
    • Management of marketing budgets within agreed targets.
    • Creating and coordinating promotional and PR activities in close cooperation with agencies.
  • Builds and nurtures, motivates and develop engagement for the extended local community in the countries
  • Run necessary administrative tasks for the brand.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or other related field. 
  •  4 + years of experience in Marketing 
  • Previous experience in managing innovation project, executing media plans, adapting communication, executing packaging designs 
  • Ability to handle complex agenda, with multiple tasks,  
  • Growth mindset and customer/consumer focus,  
  • Proactive approach, team player (people management is advantage)  
  • Ability to read and work with data   
  • Ability to understand P&L and of planning & managing marketing budget 
  • Great skills in briefing creative/research/media agencies; skilled in judging creative assets 
  • Experience in TVC development will be a plus; CSP experience will be an asset 
  • Ability and willingness to work from the office regularly 
  • Czech/Slovak - native, English - fluent
