You will own the US strategic agenda end‑to‑end—setting vision, driving growth, and ensuring Tequila Herradura consistently shows up with cultural relevance, premium distinction, and business impact.

What You Can Expect:

Brand & Business Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of long-term brand strategies and annual plans, ensuring alignment with overall business and portfolio objectives.

  • Own brand P&L and budget management, demonstrating strong financial acumen and accountability for delivering profitable growth.

  • Drive commercial mindset and decision-making, balancing creativity with data to unlock brand and business opportunities.

Consumer Insight & Strategy

  • Oversee consumer insights, market research, and competitive intelligence to identify emerging trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

  • Translate insights into clear positioning, compelling brand platforms, and actionable growth strategies.

  • Identify emerging trends and cultural shifts shaping the tequila category and proactively activate against them.

Communications, Media & Content Leadership

  • Lead strategic planning and oversight of paid and owned media across channels.

  • Own communications strategy development, including: Lead role on communications brief development & Oversight of paid media, influencer marketing, CRM/email, social, and website

  • Guide creative and content development to ensure the right message reaches the right consumer, on the right platform, at the right time.

  • Oversee media performance, measurement, and learning agendas to continuously optimize effectiveness and ROI.

Team & Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and mentor Associate Brand Managers and extended team members, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Commercial Strategy, Global Marketing, Finance, Legal, and external agency partners to drive holistic brand success.

  • Serve as a trusted brand leader with distributors and internal stakeholders across the three-tier system.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • B.A. plus 8-10  years marketing experience in a consumer goods environment. 

  • Spirits / Beverage Alcohol industry experience, with strong understanding of U.S. market dynamics and demonstrated knowledge of on-and off-premise channels

  • Proven experience developing, executing, and managing integrated brand plans.

  • Strong agency management experience across creative, advertising, and media partners.

  • Ability to build influential relationships with distributors, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical capability with a track record of turning insights into action.

  • Compelling storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Results-driven leader with demonstrated financial and brand growth success.

  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams.

  • Willingness to travel 15-25% of time, including occasional weekends.
