JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Brand Manager Potato Brand Strategy & Mix development participates to the design of the potato growth strategy and its deployment across Retail, Food service & QSR channels.
More specifically he/she leads the marketing mix development for the winning propositions inside our pipeline, develops and signs off final product design and build launch toolkits for the channel activation team.
He/she actively supports the Marketing Manager potato brand strategy and mix development in designing effective brand strategy, and leads the development of content & assets for the launch projects he/she owns.
In other words, he/she is the champion of the mix development of innovations and brand materials.

Report to: Marketing Manager potato brand strategy & mix development CE
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Participates to the definition of the brand strategy, including brand/portfolio segmentation in strong coordination with the marketing manager potato brand strategy & mix development
2. Owns specifically the following areas :

  • Innovation mix development - including product mix, packaging, business cases in collaboration with Channel teams down to Launch kits adapted to each channel
  • Brand content development and deployment at 360°


3. Ensures fruitful and efficient collaboration with the following teams :

  • Media & Digital Marketing
  • Channel Planning & Activation teams
  • R&D team and specifically the Potato dedicated R&D team


4. Collaborates with the advertising and design agencies on all potato projects
5. Follow innovation quality until launch
More specifically, he/she will be accountable for :

  • Innovation performance
  • Market share performance


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong marketing background both in category strategy development & innovation pipeline building
  • > 5 years of experience in an FMCG company
  • Excellent communication skills, written & spoken
  • Very strong command of English language, written & spoken
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Passion for food

  • Good management skills (within the company & external partners)
  • Ability to move constantly between a global vision and an attention to details.
  • Strong ability for problem solving at operational level whilst understanding the strategic framework he/she operates within.
  • Highly agile and solution provider to overcome daily challenges/hurdles enabling on time delivery of missions and tasks
