Working in close partnership with the Head of Marketing, you will be the steward of the equity of the brand, leading the Tate's Bake Shop brand vision to lead premium snacking in baked goods through increased household penetration resulting in market share, revenue, profit and ROI growth.
Working with internal & external stakeholders, you will determine the priorities to enable consumer & customer centric brand growth. You will own the portfolio strategy, develop annual plans (including integrated marketing campaigns), set objectives and allocate resources. You will execute brand marketing plans based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning and monitor performance against objectives to deliver results over the annual contract and strategic plan horizon.

  • Understanding of how to translate consumer behavior into insights & actions, preferably in the consumer goods sector in matrix environment.
  • Developing seamless consumer experiences & creating a holistic brand ecosystem.
  • Creating best in class 360 brand experiences (social/digital, consumer engagements, PR/earned, DTC, in-store, visual identity).
  • Building and optimizing media plans to drive ROI with a focus on digital.
  • Understanding and managing a brand's PnL & business objectives.
  • Thought leadership to help shape: innovation agenda, integrated business planning (forecasting), portfolio strategy.
  • Analytics and creativity to continuously review, evolve, and optimize plans to the consumer, category, and customer.
  • Leading and influencing internal cross-functional & external agency teams.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills.

What you need to know about this position:
The Senior Brand Manager Tate's is an 'end to end' role that will have a breadth of responsibility from developing best in class strategies, communications & activations to managing in-year PnL and budget. This role helps to shape on-going forecasts, portfolio strategy, PPA/ RGM, innovation as well as liaising closely with the sales team. The individual will be responsible for leading cross functional teams and agency ecosystem comprised of internal and external partners.
Required Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience of increasing leadership responsibility in CPG marketing with a mix of equity/brand building and commercial experience
  • 3+ years of people management and cross functional team leadership
  • Experience in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders, with demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
  • Extensive brand management and consumer marketing expertise
  • General Management and P&L decision making perspective
  • Experience making strategic and tactical decisions utilizing fact-based data
  • Experience specific to category development and shopper marketing
  • Sponsorship/Partnership marketing experience a real benefit
  • Digitally savvy & data driven mindset; especially as it applies to scaling brands

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
