Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and business-savvy Senior BI Developer to support SQL-based analytics and reporting solutions. This position requires deep SQL expertise, data modeling, and experience translating business requirements into reliable data products. You will interface closely with stakeholders, bridging business needs with technical execution across our modern data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business users to gather, understand, and document data and reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based queries, views, and stored procedures to support BI tools.
- Translate requirements into robust data models and efficient transformations across data layers.
- Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of operational and analytical reports.
- Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and data engineers to ensure timely data delivery.
- Document data definitions, processes, and technical logic in support of governance initiatives.
- Participate in UAT and feedback cycles with business stakeholders.
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy SQL logic and ETL processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in SQL development and relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong command of complex SQL queries, CTEs, window functions, and performance optimization
- Experience designing star/snowflake schemas and normalized data models
- Familiarity with BI/reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Sigma, etc.)
- Understanding of ETL processes and data quality principles
- Strong documentation habits and process orientation
- Ability to write technical specifications and business-friendly descriptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex concepts into business-friendly language
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to DBT, Fivetran, STRIIM, or other modern data tools
- Experience with Snowflake, including scripting, views, and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting data governance or metadata initiatives

What We Do
Designed to combine the luxury lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton® and the casual freedom of a yachting vacation, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will offer voyages on three custom-built yachts. Calling on unique and distinguished destinations alike, most voyages range from seven to ten nights, offering many overnight calls and uniquely curated experiences ashore. Each yacht will feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate up to 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere. As with The Ritz-Carlton® on land, each yacht will feature personalized service, elevated dining and luxury amenities. The yachts are also available for private charter.
