Design and build advanced Power BI dashboards tailored to financial reporting and analysis needs.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate data storage and processing environments with a focus on cost-efficiency and performance.
Work closely with finance stakeholders, data officers, and team leads to translate business requirements into impactful Power BI solutions.
Perform data modeling and ensure accurate representation of financial metrics and KPIs.
Optimize reports for performance, ensuring fast data retrieval and a smooth user experience.
Implement and uphold data security best practices, particularly for sensitive financial data.
Stay current with Power BI updates and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
Troubleshoot data connections, gateway issues, Power BI service performance, and data accuracy.
Administer and maintain Power BI backend services, including tenant and workspace security, gateways, and connections.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance IT, or a related field.
6–8 years of experience in Power BI development, ideally in a finance-related context.
Strong skills in Power BI, including report creation, DAX, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience in Power BI administration and service management.
Solid knowledge of SQL and ETL processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proactive and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset.
