cBEYONData is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join a team supporting our federal client with a primary focus on development of financial reports using SAP BusinessObjects/WebI and Data Services. Knowledge of federal financials (specifically CGI Momentum) and the SAP Analytics Cloud would be particularly helpful. The ideal candidate should be at ease working closely with clients. This position is 5 days on-site in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Translate functional requirements into thoughtfully designed financial reports using SAP BusinessObjects.
- Interface regularly with clients to develop and modify reports to meet stated requirements.
- Support the ETL lead in developing new and modifying existing processes using SAP Data Services.
- Respond to ad-hoc data calls and perform analysis using SAP HDBStudio against a HANA Database.
- Perform analysis of the data within financial systems using SQL Developer.
- Work in a team environment to solve problems, peer review other developers work, and ensure efficient database performance.
- Troubleshoot defects that are escalated by the Tier 2 help desk.
- Assist with possible future data model migration from universes to calc views.
- Assist Project Manager and Technical Leads with special projects as needed (for example, establishing connectivity to new data sources, drafting security agreements, or establishing internal processes).
Requirements:
- Extremely strong communicator with both coworkers and clients.
- 5 days on-site in Arlington, VA.
- Well versed in the SAP suite of reporting tools including SAP BusinessObjects, Information Design Tool, and HANA.
- Comfortable with ETL tools or willingness to learn SAP Data Services.
- 5-8 years of experience with these technologies in a similar role.
- Experience with federal financials (specifically Momentum) is a plus.
- Secret clearance or higher is preferred, or ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
