Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot + LLM Workflow Integration) - 1808
Location: LATAM – Remote
Contract: Vendor (InAllMedia)
We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern API architectures. This role goes beyond traditional backend development. You will design and integrate AI-driven workflows and backend components that power LLM-enabled product features.
You will collaborate closely with product, frontend, design, and a specialized AI platform team. The ideal engineer is hands-on, structured, and capable of owning complex backend integrations that support intelligent experiences at scale.
What You Will DoDesign and build scalable backend services using Java + Spring Boot
Develop and maintain high-quality RESTful APIs
Design and integrate LLM workflows that support AI-enabled features
Implement internal orchestrations and backend flows around LLMs and inference APIs
Integrate backend services with:
embeddings (consume/store)
vector stores (query/interact)
AI inference APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
Work closely with the AI platform team (this role integrates with AI systems but does not own ML infrastructure)
Improve service performance, reliability, observability, and code quality
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution design
Troubleshoot distributed systems and AI-integrated backend processes
