The Role

Your role at Dynatrace
As a (Senior) Software Engineer, you will be working on innovative security- related data pipelining solutions, focusing on implementing and optimizing data workflows using frameworks like Dagster, creating context-aware cyber threat intelligence for Dynatrace customers.
If you are passionate about software development, data engineering, and understanding how things work on cloud platforms, this is your chance for an exciting challenge in a fantastic team.
What will you do?

Design, implement, test, and deliver end-to-end data pipeline solutions in a cross-functional team.
Actively contribute to our codebase using Java, Python and AWS as the main tech stack.
Optimize performance and ensure the reliability and resilience of the data pipelines in your domain.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data workflows.
Support colleagues, fostering an approachable and supportive environment.
Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the software.
Engage in Ops and quality assurance tasks such as using Renovate for dependency updates and working with AWS services.
Embrace and improve agile practices to enhance team collaboration and project delivery.

What will help you succeed

Technical study in Computer Science or a similar field.
3+ years industry experience in software development
Good Java programming skills
Experience with Python and willingness to get proficient with it
Writing clean testable code
Solid hands-on knowledge of automated testing and software delivery practices
Interest in the cyber security domain
Familiarity with agile practices and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

Experience with Data pipelining frameworks like Dagster
Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes
Security space knowledge, including Application-Level Vulnerability management
