Senior Backend Software Engineer (API / AI)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team and take ownership of building out our APIs and AI agents.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architecture to support AI automation-driven workflows.
• Build efficient, reusable, and secure APIs (RESTful) to integrate frontend applications and AI-driven services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers and AI/ML experts, to implement server-driven logic.
• Champion backend development best practices, including CI/CD, logging, and monitoring.
• Stay ahead of backend technology trends to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues to maintain reliable and performant systems.

• Extensive experience in backend development using Django or similar frameworks at scale.
• Experience building AI agents using Langgraph (Langchain) or similar frameworks
• A proactive mindset with a bias for action—someone who takes initiative, solves problems, and delivers results.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Startup experience or experience working with small businesses
