Your mission
Our mission is to evolve Frontify’s platform capabilities and deliver useful everyday tools to our customers. We are innovating and working on creative solutions to help our customers manage their Frontify organizations and resources more efficiently.
You’ll join the Product Platform team, where we are seeking a competent and curious Senior Backend Engineer who thrives on solving architectural challenges and getting things done. Your contributions will shape the scalability and performance of our Product.
Your responsibilities
You’ll implement high-quality features and improvements in a modern web application.
You’ll design solutions that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
You will collaborate with product management, design, and engineering toward viable product development changes from discovery to delivery.
You will work closely with other developers through pair programming, code reviews, and alike.
Your story
You can work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or join us on-site in our St. Gallen office, with the flexibility to choose your best work environment.
You're experienced in backend software engineering, while having basic frontend engineering knowledge is useful.
Ideally, you code with PHP or are willing to learn. Knowledge of TypeScript and other languages is welcome.
You love to write readable, reusable, scalable, and well-tested code.
You don't shy away from dealing with legacy code.
You fend off the dreaded 'big ball of mud' by keeping coupling low, cohesion high, and SOLID principles close at heart.
You hold strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
You speak English fluently.
