Job Summary
As a Senior Automation Tester (16446), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for UI testing.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in developing, enhancing, and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools like TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit.
- Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure Boards.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and automation in cloud environments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- Ability to analyze and debug complex issues effectively.
- Precision in creating and executing automation scripts.
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks or projects efficiently.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies as required.
