The Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated automation software engineer to join our incredible team.
The team is responsible for ensuring the E2E quality of ControlUp Products. This includes participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle (feature design, implementation, test design, test automation, and test execution). You will work closely with the team, dev engineers, product managers, and automation infra engineers to help ship products with high quality.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Design, implement, and extend automation tests and infrastructure
- Take ownership of new features and implement full automation coverage from the design stage to production testing
- Help to elevate the quality of our products and provide scalable automation solutions
- Collaborate closely with the product and automation infra teams
- Own the CI/CD tools and processes in the teams you work with
Your Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ Years of automation experience on web applications using Python/JS
- 2+ Years experience in developing automation infrastructure and UI testing using Selenium Playwright, REST API, databases, and 3rd party integrationsHigh technical skills, deep knowledge of automation best practices
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, OOP, and best practices
- Experience in planning, test writing, and test methodologiesExperience in SaaS web-based applications
- Strong mentoring skills & self-learningExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew & English Be a team player
- Have a positive attitude with a passion to win
- Experience in working with Container solutions like (Docker, Kubernetes) - an advantage
- Strong scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy) skills - an advantage
- Experience with Postman - an advantage
- Experience with DB queries - an advantage
- Experience in working with Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP) - an advantage
- Experience in the development of Continuous Integration solutions - an advantage
