Vintage Focus
You are a product specialist self-starter who can work independently and with cross-functional teams, to ensure the integrity of the Vintage Authenticator function. With your previous experience as an individual contributor as an Authenticator or Brand Lead, you possess hands-on ability to own projects relating to Vintage Escalation, DeEscalation, Product Organization and Movement, and ability to assist the department with its SLA.What You Get To Do Everyday
Authenticate luxury products by locating brand identifiers (holograms, date codes, authenticity
cards, and hallmarks) and evaluating the quality of materials and construction
Inspect consigned luxury products for condition and acceptance standards (Quality Control)
Serve as the point person to process brands identified as authentication risk, covetable and/or high-value
Assist with processing VIP consignments
Write informative product descriptions using industry-standard fashion terms
Price merchandise based on retail value, condition, and style
Data Entry (Provide pertinent product information such as measurements and fabrication)
Vintage Focus
Sorts HRA backlog for mis-escalated vintage to ‘de-escalate’ by sending through to LRA (25-50% of time)
Manually locates and escalates high value vintage items to L3 in Dior from LRA (50+% of time)
Manages and tracks incoming high value vintage consignments to ensure proper receiving and escalation
Sorts HRA backlog for mis-escalated vintage to ‘de-escalate’ by sending through to LRA
Organizes Vintage backlog by date order to ensure proper SLA is maintained
Scans items into vintage backlog location
Supports receiving with inquiries regarding vintage product
Assists HRA Vintage production as needed / when time permits
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of luxury fashion experience (retail included)
Strong fashion knowledge – Top designers and brands, current trends, garment construction, etc.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment
Outstanding work ethic and ability to consistently meet daily department goals
Excellent organizational & time management skills and acute attention to detail
Confident communicator who possesses a positive attitude towards collaboration
Passionate about continuous learning and comfortable in conducting independent research
Strong business acumen and ability to align work with company goals.
At least one year as a Brand Lead or LRA Authenticator or equivalent external Vintage experience required
Preferred Requirements:
College degree preferred but not required (fashion studies/merchandising, textiles studies, etc.)
Experience with Dior and Looker highly preferred
