Interpath is an international and fast-growing advisory business with deep expertise in a broad range of specialisms spanning deals, advisory and restructuring capabilities.
We deliver tangible results for global businesses, their investors, and stakeholders when complex problems arise, and critical decisions need to be made. Interpath is agile, independent, and conflict-free, and our passion for doing what’s right, every time, sets us apart.
Our diverse teams provide specialist technical knowledge combined with deep sector experience across our service line specialisms. Since our foundation in 2021, Interpath has grown rapidly, and we now have a presence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, BVI, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Barbados, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and South Africa. By 2030 we aim to be one of the world’s leading advisory firms with a truly global footprint.
Interpath’s Deals team supports clients across the full transaction lifecycle, delivering financial due diligence, carve-out, and valuation services on both domestic and cross-border transactions. We are looking for a talented Senior Associate to join our Transaction Services team in Hong Kong, working with an exciting mix of clients including leading Private Equity firms and corporate organisations.
In this role, you will work closely with Managing Directors and Managers in a highly entrepreneurial environment, supporting the continued growth and development of our Deal Advisory practice alongside ambitious and high-performing colleagues.
You will gain exposure across the entire deal lifecycle in a hands-on capacity, working on both buy-side and sell-side engagements. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider Interpath network, including our corporate finance and debt advisory teams, helping clients deliver successful transactions while developing your technical and commercial expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and contribute to Financial Due Diligence reports for Private Equity and Corporate clients.
  • Analyse historical financial performance and identify key business trends and drivers.
  • Perform Quality of Earnings analysis, identifying non-recurring items and assessing sustainable earnings.
  • Review Net Working Capital trends and establish appropriate working capital benchmarks and transaction pegs.
  • Identify debt-like items through analysis of balance sheets and off-balance sheet arrangements.
  • Critically assess management forecasts, identifying potential risks, opportunities and key assumptions.
  • Participate in client meetings, management interviews and conference calls throughout transaction processes.
  • Support the day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping to develop technical and professional capabilities across the team.

Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent).
  • Experience gained within a Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or Deals team at a Big 4 or leading advisory firm; however, we are equally interested in speaking with candidates currently working in Audit who have 2–3 years of experience and are looking to transition into a Transaction Services career.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and key accounting concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to contribute to a growing business.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.

Values
Our four core values are the cornerstones of culture at Interpath and steer everything from everyday decisions to larger strategic initiatives. Our Interpath Values are;
Do the right thing - Our comfort zone is uncomfortable. We always make the right decision, not simply what is easy or popular.
All hands on deck - stand shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues and clients, be that physically or from afar. Our individual expertise may find the answers, but implementation happens though teamwork.
Passion drives success  - The impossible is always possible. We push the boundaries of what is expected because we're never satisfied with the status quo. Our clients expect the right result when they engage with us, and it's only by delivering this that we win.
Embrace different - cultures to mindsets, we welcome all. We believe that people are equal, but not the same.
