Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with our business leaders on all aspects of strategic finance, including but not limited to business plan formation, long-range planning, strategic alternatives, and corporate development initiatives
- Build and maintain financial models, unit economics, and business cases to support key strategic decisions across the organization
- Own workstreams end-to-end for new ventures: market sizing, competitive analysis, go-to-market planning, pricing, and operating model design
- Support the broader Strategic Finance mandate, including long-range planning, board and management presentations, and ad hoc analytical questions that inform company strategy
- Evaluate and support M&A, strategic partnership, and investment activity connected to the new venture pipeline
- Contribute to materials and process for future equity and debt financings as needed
- Build the KPIs, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure to measure venture performance post-launch
Ideal Background
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3–5+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, strategic finance, or an operating role at a high-growth startup
- Excellent financial modeling and presentation skills — comfortable building a model from a blank sheet
- Proven ability to take initiative, operate independently, and act like an owner
- Fluency with AI tools and a genuine interest in applying them to finance and strategy work
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities — energized by zero-to-one problems
- Intellectually curious and quick to get up to speed on unfamiliar industries, business models, and technical domains
- Strong written and verbal communication; can distill complex analysis into a crisp narrative
- Willingness to work under pressure to produce outstanding results
- Track record of integrity, sound judgment, and genuine collaboration
