Job Title Sr. Associate - Production Reporting To Senior Manager - Production Location Gangaikondan Grade/ Level SC Job Objective The Stringer Operator is responsible for operating solar cell stringer machines to interconnect solar cells into strings as per module design specifications, ensuring high quality, minimal breakage, and compliance with safety and production standards. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities KPIs 1)

- Operate automatic / semi-automatic solar cell stringer machines.
- Load solar cells, ribbons (tabbing & busbar), and consumables as per BOM.

- Inspect solar cells and strings for micro-cracks, breakage, misalignment, solder defects, and polarity errors.
- Segregate rejected cells/strings and report quality issues to the supervisor.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimal downtime.
- Record production output, scrap, breakage, and machine downtime in shift logs.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and preventive maintenance as per checklist.
- Identify machine abnormalities and immediately inform maintenance team.
- Diploma (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical) preferred
- 4–8 years of experience in solar module manufacturing (stringer machine operation preferred)
- Knowledge of solar cell handling and stringing process

- Cell breakage
