Position Summary: We are looking for a Product Operations Senior Associate to join the athenahealth Product Operations team based in Chennai. This role focuses on supporting Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product initiatives and driving the execution of pre-GA activities, including alpha and beta programs, to improve product release outcomes and customer adoption. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, cross-functional teams, and customers to enable feature readiness, accelerate value delivery, and support product management best practices. The role requires strong stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving healthcare technology outcomes.
About the Team: The Product Operations team at athenahealth partners closely with the Product Management organization to drive customer value through analytics-driven insights and product testing best practices. The team supports product lifecycle activities by coordinating alpha and beta programs, enabling customer feedback loops, and improving product adoption and scalability. This mission-driven team is focused on enhancing healthcare technology solutions and delivering impactful outcomes across the healthcare ecosystem.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Support Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product features from development through General Availability (GA)
Plan, execute, and measure alpha, beta, and proof-of-concept product testing activities
Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive roadmap alignment and operational efficiency
Collaborate with Product Owners to support product management best practices and release readiness
Organize and manage customer enablement and end-user coordination activities
Drive dependency management and communication across multiple scrum and R&D teams
Monitor feature adoption, scalability, and customer feedback to improve release outcomes
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Support customer communication activities related to product testing and feature rollout
Contribute to process improvements within Product Operations workflows
Assist in stakeholder presentations, reporting, and release tracking activities
Partner with internal enablement teams to improve customer onboarding experiences
Participate in agile scrum ceremonies and cross-functional planning sessions
Stay informed on healthcare technology trends, product operations practices, and industry developments
Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously improving operational and collaboration practices
Expected Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience
1–2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), product management, user research, or related healthcare operations preferred
Experience supporting client communications in a B2B environment preferred
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer-facing experience
Foundational understanding of agile scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle preferred
