The team shapes and grows Grab's business by contributing to the vision of becoming Southeast Asia's super app. The team develop business strategies that help us achieve our vision of serving the community. The team believe in creating mutually beneficial collaborations with corporate partners to enhance their business offerings and positively influence the lives of customers.
Get to Know the Role
Your main responsibility will be to support the expansion and growth of the Omnicommerce and Payments business in the Philippines by providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making. Your role will involve collaboration across teams, using data analysis to ensure that Omnicommerce and Payments programs are well-positioned for growth on the platform.
You will report directly to the Director, Commercial and Business Development, PH. You will be based onsite at our Ortigas office with flexible work arrangements.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
- You will provide analytical support for the Omnicommerce and Payments teams, focusing on content, revenue, sales, expenses, and other transaction-related metrics.
- You will use analytics tools and metrics to deliver applicable insights, allowing informed decision-making and continuous improvement in merchant management strategies.
- You will build dashboards to track performance at both an overall and city-level, comparing targets and prior months.
- You will conduct Cause Analyses (RCA) to identify reasons for metric drops and determine actions and fixes.
- You will develop a framework to analyze the ROI from promotions and collaborate with the marketing team to understand the ROI of different campaigns.
- You will contribute to special projects or focus areas as needed.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You will Need
- At least 2 or more years of experience in strategy, consulting, F&B, or a technology-related field.
- Experience providing analytical support, using tools and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), with fluency in SQL. Knowledge of R or Python.
- Skills in quantitative analyses
- Experience in building dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Perform Cause Analyses to identify applicable insights.
