Reporting relationshipsReports to: Assistant Vice President in US
Primary functions and essential responsibilities- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, capital planning, scenario analyses, and fund‑level or program‑level financial insights
- Must be a player-coach and effectively manage relationships with internal resources (both US and Mumbai based) and external providers i.e.: fund administrator(s)
- Assist in the system identification, assessment, and implementation processes for AI solutions i.e.: ProSights, Pryon
- Support data and reporting enhancement initiatives, including the buildout of analytics dashboards, forecasting tools, and employee‑facing reporting packages
- Contribute effectively to the innovation efforts for the structuring and implementation of a streamlined and centralized Investor Operations 360 platform
- Participate in project plans, milestones, and updates to executive management
- Coordinate with third party banking/lender relationships and internal and external auditors to meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines
- Manage debt facilities and review compliance reporting, as applicable
- Train, mentor, and oversee junior team members based in Mumbai or the U.S., ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of deliverables
- Responsible for ad-hoc limited partner, analyst, and investment team requests
Education:
- BS/BA with major in Accounting, Economics or Finance, with outstanding academic record
- CPA preferred, CFA a plus
Experience Required:
- 6-9 years of relevant work experience
- Public accounting experience a plus (Big 4 preferred) especially with investment management or financial institutions, strongly valued
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Ability to assist in managing several third-party relationships
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP a plus
- Strong verbal and written skills; ability to analyze and summarize complex information both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage various deadlines
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Anaplan, Tableau, PowerBI, or other data reporting software experience, a plus
General Requirements:
- Proven experience of collaborating with teams in remote locations
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word (e.g.: complex formulas, macros)
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or other business intelligence tools, a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Superior communication skills and a demonstrated ability to create content to a diverse audience
- Strong client service orientation
- Outstanding leadership and project management capabilities
