Senior Associate Engineer, Product Software
Job Summary
Develops new software. Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis

Understands, reads, and reviews requirements

Works with Business Analysts to understand business requirements
Software Architecture

Assists with the documentation and maintenance of architectures
Software Design

Assists with Features and modules design

Evaluates open source

Assists with the documentation and maintenance of designs for software systems
Development/Coding

Develops scripts and code for a feature and module

Cross-technical integration

Participates in peer reviews
Testing

Develops unit tests

Fixes defects

Develops test strategies
DevOps

Captures, consolidates and maintains inventory of applications/infrastructure for all software engineering verticals

Documents deployed processes and tools and collects metrics

Documents processes and publishes them to team for review & updates
Software Reliability & Support Engineering

Captures and consolidates inventory of production applications, flows and systems for several products

Helps in preparing application support documentation

Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledgebase documents
Customer/Stakeholder Engagement
Technical Project Management

Provides status reports and maintains a project plan for a product
R&D/Innovation

Investigates, analyzes, and evaluates new technologies
Qualifications

3+ years experience

Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $111,000 to $185,000 per year• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $104,000 to $172,000 per year• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $94,000 to $156,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
