Summary: Reporting to the Admin Revenue Director, the Revenue Senior Associate is a key role, and integral part of the team’s success. The role will be responsible for supporting the Admin Revenue Director in all aspects of the successful execution of the Admin revenue process. 

           

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply ASC606 revenue recognition principles with guidance to ensure compliance
  • Prepare monthly revenue related journal entries and assist the Admin Revenue Director with the monthly close process
  • Monitor invoicing processes to ensure accurate billing charges
  • Assist in reconciling revenue, accrued revenue and deferred revenue accounts across the relevant jurisdictions
  • Identify and escalate data discrepancies to the relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare support for audits done by internal and external auditors
  • Maintain clear and accurate process documentation to support ASC606 compliance and consistency across revenue accounting tasks.
  • Communicate with the stakeholders on an on-going basis to ensure successful implementation of ASC606
  • Create channels for stakeholder feedback fostering a collaborative environment that is conductive to successful implementation of ASC606 standards.
  • Assist the Admin Revenue Director with the accurate and timely recording of revenue-related transactions.
  • Responsible for keeping the Admin revenue master data UpToDate
  • Responsible for preparing the ADR monthly roll
  • Facilitate the monthly Revenue meeting (for each Firm),
  • Collaborate with the Billing COE team in Mumbai
  • Contribute to Waystone’s efforts to automate revenue processes
  • Grow into an Admin Revenue subject matter expert
  • Take opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in other functions and grow networks

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • 5 years + experience of working in Fund Administration
  • Understanding of Client Administration Agreements and identification of the key aspects contained therein relating to revenue and payment terms
  • Background in risk awareness
  • Must be a self-starting and motivated individual who is able to quickly pick upon new systems and manage deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data to generate insights.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables.Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal orientated and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sage Intacct, Adaptive Planning and Salesforce experience is preferable but not necessary.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification is preferred.
