Overview
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Marketing Services is the team within Services that develops and executes the marketing programs that help our clients achieve their marketing goals. The Advisors Creative Desk sits within Services and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and our portfolio of brands. As Art Director you will have a creative flair, but an attention to detail. You will relish working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple project deliverables. You will have solid people management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Role
• As Art Director, you are responsible for overseeing the development of creative deliverables developing for our clients. You will receive a smooth handover and understanding of the creative concept from the Creative Director and lead the production team, overseeing the delivery of jobs from brief to execution, through to post-production and launch.
• Managing multiple briefs across categories for distribution on channels.
• Determining quality control standards; adhering to all company policy and external regulatory bodies, and client brand requirements.
• Input to estimating, negotiating and agreeing budget and timescales with internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with Creative Project Manager and Creative Operations Managers.
• Leading the Creative Production team squad on project quality delivery
• Working alongside the Creative Desk Project Managers and Creative Operations team, you will ensure your creative team work effectively, meeting deadlines and business objectives.
• Identifying roadblocks early – specifically capacity concerns - and propose measures to mitigate.
All About You
• Experience as an Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer with extensive people leader experience
• Proven project and client management experience
• Adept at defining client briefs and presenting concepts back to clients
• Skilled at working under pressure
• Bachelor degree qualified, with post graduate qualifications in creative or digital marketing
• Native-level Mandarin proficiency with fluent English communication skills
