About this opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead technology strategy, architecture governance, DevSecOps transformation, and innovation initiatives across globally distributed engineering teams.
This role is responsible for defining and driving the future-state architecture for software delivery platforms, CI/CD ecosystems, release automation, AI-enabled engineering capabilities, developer productivity, and operational excellence at scale.
As a strategic technology leader, you will partner with product engineering teams, architects, platform engineers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to establish technology direction, drive engineering transformation, and accelerate the adoption of modern software delivery practices.
In addition, you will lead innovation initiatives that foster experimentation, automation, AI adoption, and engineering excellence across the organization.
What you will do:• Define and drive the technology vision, architecture strategy, and roadmap for engineering platforms and software delivery ecosystems.• Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and engineering best practices across multiple product organizations.• Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and key technical decision-making processes.• Drive consistency, scalability, security, resilience, and operational excellence across engineering platforms.• Partner with senior technology leaders to align architecture roadmaps with long-term business and engineering objectives.• Lead the evolution of modern software delivery capabilities including CI/CD, GitOps, Release Automation, Platform Engineering, and Cloud-Native technologies.• Define strategies to improve deployment frequency, lead time, software quality, security posture, reliability, and developer productivity.• Drive modernization of engineering toolchains including GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, observability platforms, infrastructure automation, and AI-assisted developer tooling.• Advocate and drive adoption of common platforms, engineering standards, DevSecOps practices, and reusable architectural patterns across the enterprise.• Lead innovation programs including hackathons, proof-of-concepts, technical showcases, and engineering accelerator initiatives.• Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.• Drive the identification, incubation, and scaling of innovative ideas into production-ready solutions.• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, analytics, and intelligent tooling to improve engineering efficiency and business outcomes.
The skills you bring:
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure domains.• 8+ years in architecture, technical leadership, or enterprise platform strategy roles.• Proven track record of driving large-scale DevSecOps, CI/CD, platform engineering, and engineering transformation initiatives.• Experience working with globally distributed engineering organizations and complex enterprise environments.• Experience leading technical strategy and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple business domains.
