We are now looking for a Senior Applied Engineer focused on AI Graphics! NVIDIA is hiring hardworking, outstanding senior engineers to work in the Enterprise Platforms Applied Engineering team. AI Graphics will be fundamental to making amazing experiences a reality for stet-of-the-art graphics technologies Virtual Production and Volumetric Video. NVIDIA’s Omniverse platform is a foundation to cement these technologies together. This position is a chance to be a part of making all of this a reality.
What you will be doing:
Work with some of the most hardworking and ground breaking developers throughout the world and interact closely with the multiple teams, including the Omniverse, Research and Software teams at NVIDIA. Experiment with the latest GPU and networking technologies to develop new algorithms and techniques, investigate and optimize performance challenges, build prototype demonstrations of amazing new technologies and solutions. Have opportunities to write whitepapers and present your work at conferences.
What we need to see:

MS or PhD from a leading University in an engineering or Computer Science related subject area (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of experience developing graphics and ray tracing applications.

Solid understanding of real time rendering techniques, algorithms, paradigms and related math

You'll possess solid understanding of C/C++, software design, programming techniques

Direct programming experience with real-time graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Vulkan and DirectX12

Direct experience with AI and Deep Learning.

Very experienced with parallel programming using CUDA C/C+.

The ideal candidate would also have experience developing applications and plugins using graphics engines such as UE4 or Unity

Excellent communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, time management, and task prioritization skills

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 304,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
