Job Description
Senior Software Application Engineer for UI development
- You will develop applications for evaluation and demonstration of NFC products
- Work closely with internal teams on software definition and ensuring short feedback cycles
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
- Definite and implement software tests in collaboration with CI/CD team
- Be responsible for a level of maturity of the software as required for public releases
- 2nd level software support specialist for NFC evaluation software
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI development trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Professional Experience: 5 years of professional experience as a UI tool developer You have solid state-of-the-art programming skills in C, C++, Python, Java, TypeScript
- You have solid experience in graphical user interface programming (Qt, Android Studio, Visual Studio Code)
- You have solid experience in Agile software development and tools, such as Git, Jira, Jenkins
- You have some knowledge of modern web application development technologies, such as WebAssembly, WebUSB, PWA
- Experience in electrical engineering, NFC/RFID and semiconductors is a plus
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team
- You are willing to share your expert know-how within the team as well as with customers
Additional Information
This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.
