The Sr. Application Developer will further the Dairy Queen brand and enhance the fan experience by creating scalable web applications through innovation, systems-thinking, design, development, agility, support and mentoring. The position will work closely with all departments to execute against technology road-maps.
Hands-on Development & Technical Work
- Design, develop, and support system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the IT Strategy
- Enforce standard coding practices, standard development lifecycle, and proper promotion of code to production through QA environments.
- Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, Business Functional Leads, and super users for practical application suite of Enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business users to gain a deep understanding of their business processes and requirements.
- Build and implement systems and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture.
- Research new technology for potential applications.
Vendor Coordination and Communication
- Work with vendors to develop solutions to support the requirements of the business and our customers.
The US national base salary range for this position is $105,561 - $129,313. This position is also eligible for a bonus. The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.
Qualifications- Strong experience building software solutions using C#, SQL and object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
- At least 7 years of experience in design and full-stack development with Microsoft Stack (.NET framework, MVC, C#)
- At least 3 years of experience developing SQL scripts/procedures
- At least 2 years of experience using Content Management tools (Telerik SiteFinity preferred)
- .NET Framework (Expert)

- Azure Cloud Services - Azure Functions, Application Insights, APIM, and KeyVault (Intermediate)
- Web API / Web Services (Intermediate)
- SQL development (Intermediate)
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Git (Intermediate)
- Experience using .NET Design Patterns (Intermediate)
- MVC (Proficient)
- JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX (Proficient)
- Power Platform development - Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse (Desired)
- Experience developing in a cloud environment - PaaS and/or IaaS (Desired)
- Work closely with various departments and technical teams to build quality, extensible apps.
- Ability to adapt quickly, stay abreast of emerging technologies and self-learn.
- Ability to create well thought-out integrated application design with input from others.
- High producer, systems-thinker who maintains a high-level of quality in all facets of work.
- Provide training and mentorship to peers when needed.

Work Environment
Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 3 collaboration days a week. Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.
