The Senior APAC Bioprocess Modality Specialist serves as a strategic commercial excellence partner for the APAC Bioprocess business. This role collaborates closely with commercial leaders, account managers, finance partners, product management, and regional business leadership to drive business performance, improve forecast accuracy, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic actions that support achievement of annual business objectives

This position reports to the General Manager, Bioprocess Asia Pacific and is part of the APAC Commercial Organization, preferably located in Singapore. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. 

In This Role, You will have opportunity to  

  • Partner with APAC commercial leaders and country teams to develop and execute growth strategies aligned with annual operating plans and regional business objectives. Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to monitor business performance, assess forecast health, identify risks and opportunities, and support actions required to achieve annual targets. 
  • Lead regional funnel review processes by analyzing pipeline quality, opportunity progression, conversion trends, and forecast assumptions to improve business visibility and predictability. Identify gaps between forecasted performance and business objectives and facilitate development of recovery plans and countermeasures with commercial stakeholders. 
  • Drive data-based decision making through analysis of orders, revenue trends, funnel metrics, market dynamics, customer investments, and regional business performance indicators. Support strategic opportunity reviews by partnering with account teams, modality specialists, and business leaders to assess opportunity health, risks, competitive positioning, and resource requirements. 
  • Prepare and present business performance updates, growth opportunities, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to APAC and global leadership teams. Champion commercial excellence processes and best practices to improve operating rigor, forecasting discipline, opportunity management, and business reviews across the region. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, applications, service, and supply chain teams to align resources and initiatives that support commercial growth objectives. Provide market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis to help shape regional commercial priorities and portfolio strategies. 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field. 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial excellence, business operations, sales support, business development, product management, commercial strategy, consulting, or related roles within the life sciences or bioprocess industry. 
  • Strong understanding of bioprocessing markets, customer segments, and industry trends. 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting forecasting processes, business planning, funnel management, and commercial performance reviews. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret business data, identify trends, assess risks, and generate actionable recommendations. Experience partnering with both commercial and finance teams to support business planning and performance management. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Proven ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities across countries, functions, and business initiatives. 
     

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel across APAC when required to support business reviews, customer engagements, commercial planning activities, and regional meetings (approximately 10 - 20%). 

It Would Be A Plus If You Also Possess Previous Experience In:

  • Commercial excellence, sales operations, or business analytics leadership roles. 
  • Forecasting methodologies, funnel management, CRM analytics, and business intelligence tools. Supporting annual operating plan development and execution. 
  • Application of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
