Main Mission
As a Senior Annuities Specialist, your mission is to drive, secure, and optimize the entire renewal and maintenance process for Intellectual Property rights (patents, trademarks, designs) on behalf of our international client portfolio. Beyond operational excellence, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members (Only applicable to profiles with extensive experience in annuities) and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.
Key Responsibilities & Performance Objectives
- Annuity Process Management:Oversee and execute the payment of maintenance fees to national and international patent and trademark offices (INPI, EPO, WIPO, etc.) while strictly adhering to statutory deadlines. Maintenance fees orders are sent by the swiss team directly to Pavis, not to the different Office
- Client Relationship & Advisory:Collaborate directly with clients (both men and women serving as IP managers or legal directors) to validate renewal strategies and anticipate their business needs.
- Risk Management & Compliance:Identify data anomalies, secure critical deadlines, and proactively resolve potential office actions, rejections, or disputes.
- Process Optimization:Actively participate in the digitization and simplification of payment workflows within our IP management systems.
- Ability to handle client calls in English (primarily) to clearly explain our annuity management processes during client onboarding.
- Mentorship & Team Synergy:Support the skill development of junior specialists (Only applicable to profiles with extensive experience in annuities)

- Experience:Minimum of 2+ years of experience , of successful experience in IP annuities and renewals management, ideally within an IP law firm or a multinational corporate structure.
- Legal & Technical Expertise:Comprehensive knowledge of international patent and trademark filing and maintenance procedures (ideal).
- Tools:Advanced proficiency in IP management software (e.g., Anaqua, IPizon, DIAMS) and official patent office portals (ideal).
- Languages:Full professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken) is essential for communicating with our global networks.
