Job overview

The Expense product team is going through two concurrent transformation initiatives in 2026:

  • Rebranding from Expensya to Medius Expense, followed by a full migration to the Medius Suite Design System — requiring systematic updates to all product documentation (screenshots, GIFs, terminology, help articles).

  • Product tooling rationalization — our team currently uses overlapping tools that serve similar purposes. We want to consolidate them to reduce both licensing costs and maintenance overhead.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role at the intersection of product operations, AI tooling, and technical writing. It offers real ownership of two meaningful workstreams.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Product Tooling Migration:

  • Audit the current product tooling stack: map tools by category, usage, cost, and overlap.

  • Propose a rationalized tooling architecture that reduces duplication while maintaining or improving team productivity.

  • Identify where AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted documentation, automated migration scripts, LLM-based content conversion) can accelerate or automate the migration process.

  • Execute the migration in close coordination with the VP of Product and the design/engineering teams.

  • Document the new tooling setup and produce a lightweight maintenance guide.

2. Product Documentation Update:

  • Systematically update help documentation (Helpdocs, SuccessPortal) to reflect the new Medius Expense brand: screenshots, animated GIFs, UI labels, product terminology.

  • Track documentation coverage across features and flag gaps or outdated content.

  • As the UI/UX transitions to the Medius Suite Design System (Phase 2, end-2026/early-2027), anticipate upcoming changes and prepare documentation update workflows accordingly.

  • Propose AI-assisted workflows to scale documentation updates efficiently (e.g., batch screenshot capture, automated text replacement, LLM-assisted rewriting).

  • Maintain a living tracker of documentation status per module and per audience (employees, accountants, admins).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in product management, information systems, UX, business technology, or a related field.

  • Genuinely comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) — and able to articulate how to apply them to specific tasks.

  • Rigorous, detail-oriented, and able to manage a structured backlog of tasks autonomously.

  • Strong written communication in English (French is a plus given our historical market).

  • Able to work with minimal supervision while flagging blockers proactively.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience with SaaS product documentation tools (e.g., Intercom Articles, Zendesk Guide, Notion, Confluence).

  • Familiarity with product management tooling ecosystems (roadmapping, feedback, analytics, design tools).

  • Basic scripting skills (Python or JavaScript) to automate repetitive tasks.

  • Experience with screen-capture and GIF creation tools.

Practical Information

  • Format: Internship (stage) or part-time student contract (alternance/apprentissage) — open to discussion.

  • Duration: 6 months.

  • Location: Tunis

  • Start date: As soon as possible.

  • Reporting to: VP of Product, Medius Expense.
