You will be part of the Invoices Tribe, in the Copenhagen office. As a tribe, we are an autonomous team that works as a “micro company” within SumUp. You will be part of a cross-functional feature team (a squad), within the Invoices Tribe. We help merchants understand their finances. Our goal as a team is to create new products and services that show merchants how they earn and spend money.
The app that you will work on will impact millions of merchants across the world daily, you will contribute to its vision and future, together with Designers, Product Managers and the team itself. Additionally, you will be an active contributor to the Mobile Chapter where all mobile developers shape our mobile ecosystem.
Please note this is onsite position in Copenhagen
What you’ll do
- Work on customer-facing products (Expenses Management, Accounting and Invoices), by developing new features, maintain existing ones, and continuously improving the user experience with the product
- Track the app health with the help of logging/analytics/observability
- Proactively work with colleagues in Product, creating tickets, split bigger tickets, understanding workflows as well as handling potential hidden complexities within the team
- Deliver clear code to review with colleagues
- Working with stakeholders across the business (such as Business Analysts, Product Specialists, Customer Support…)
You’ll be great for this role if you
- Have progressive experience of 5+ years in Android development, mainly in Kotlin
- Have researched and done some work on Kotlin Multiplatform
- Like to work using the latest technologies to build great UI, especially Jetpack Compose
- Are experienced writing UI and integration tests
- Use tools such as Graphana, and are familiar with Open API
