About the RoleYou will be implementing and contributing to data analytics strategies, with ownership of specific projects and products. Your role involves delivering solutions and providing technical expertise to drive initiatives. You will be responsible for tackling complex technical problems and identifying solutions. Working closely with senior engineers and team leads, you'll develop and enhance data products while ensuring adherence to and improvement of technical practices.
Analytics Architecture & Data Modelling
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance analytical data models.
- Lead semantic modelling initiatives that power executive dashboards and business-critical reporting.
- Define modelling conventions, metric definitions, and governance standards.
- Ensure strong data lineage, documentation, and reproducibility.
Business Impact & KPI Ownership
- Partner with stakeholders to define and standardize meaningful KPIs.
- Translate ambiguous business needs into structured analytical frameworks.
- Drive end-to-end analytics lifecycle: from discovery to delivery.
- Deliver executive-ready insights and visualization products via Power BI.
Operational & Technical Excellence
- Establish CI/CD, testing, observability and reliability practices for analytics workloads.
- Improve deployment automation via Azure DevOps / Git workflows.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across systems.
- Contribute to personalization use cases via Single View of Customer models.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Act as a technical reference point within the analytics community.
- Mentor peers and junior engineers.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to enable experimentation (A/B testing).
- Communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years or equivalent experience designing, implementing and optimising complex analytical datasets and data models
- Proven experience leading the implementation of end-to-end analytics solutions and semantic modelling.
- Experience using PowerBi Services to turn data into powerful visual aids and dashboards.
- Good understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks in analytical systems
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft BI stack, DAX, MDX, T-SQL, Python
- Solid experience of using Git or Azure DevOps improving deployment reliability, automation, and observability.
Bonus Points:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights, architectural decisions, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with dBt orchestration
- Knowledge of Azure data services (Delta and Databricks)
- Experience with A/B testing
- Experience with Power Automate
