As an Analytics and Insights Specialist, you will design and build scalable data assets that provide granular visibility across Westpac’s product portfolio and customer lifecycle.

You will work with large, complex datasets to develop robust data solutions that underpin performance analytics, pricing, and portfolio decision-making. This includes translating business requirements into efficient, well-structured data transformations that are fit for downstream analytics at scale.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, optimising data processing, and building high-quality, reusable data assets in a large, regulated environment.

  • 5+ years’ experience using SAS and SQL to deliver business insights

  • Experience working with complex data and delivering high‑quality reporting to support decision‑making in a large, complex organisation

  • Strong ability to build and manage effective relationships with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams

  • Experience developing insights and reporting

  • Proven experience translating business requirements into data solutions, from analysis through to delivery and implementation

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, including an understanding of key banking metrics and performance measures 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to a range of audiences
