Financial reporting
• Prepare the monthly IFRS management reporting for selected entities in the group
• Prepare supporting schedules and perform related processes (eg. general ledger postings)
• Financial control including analytical review and balance sheet reconciliation
• Review the monthly management accounts for all entities within area of responsibility, ensuring that the general ledger is accurate and complete and that all analytical reviews
and balance sheet reconciliations have been completed and reviewed
• Preparation of board reporting as required
• Preparation of local GAAP statutory accounts
• Prepare regulatory returns for regulated entities, liaising with local regulatory advisors as required
• Liaise with auditors and local tax advisors, ensuring the delivery of information to support the preparation of local tax returns and other tax filings required
• Advise treasury of FX contracts needed to hedge all foreign currency monetary assets and liabilities on a monthly basis
• Calculate interest on intercompany loans
• Maintain Swiss cash management and review the set limits daily
• Ensure payroll process works smoothly and any unreconciled items are clarified with HR
• Take a proactive role in questioning processes in place with a view to continuous improvement
• Support other financial control and reporting initiatives as required
• Involvement in ad-hoc projects within Finance
• Support other Financial Control and Reporting initiatives as required
Taxes
. Preparation of Swiss VAT and Stamp duty return
• Support tax reporting to Group tax
. Administration of tax invoices and ensuring payment is on time
