Job Description
Senior Analysts, Procurement for Chicago, IL location. Independently analyze product delivery and logistics/supply chain management processes to identify or recommend changes. Maintain databases of logistics and supply chain information. Oversee the implementation of strategic sourcing processes including market and industry analysis, supplier research and review, and data analysis on logistic elements. Contact vendors and review vendor contract approvals with legal team. Analyze bid proposals against the current state of the business. Develop negotiation event timelines and manage execution of logistics. Innovate, plan, and execute strategic logistics and supply chain initiatives that will strengthen quality, drive value, and enhance relationships with vendor partnerships. Communicate negotiation results to senior management. Technical Environment: Experience with procurement, supply chain management, Visio, Tableau, Power BI, Coupa P2P, Salesforce, database and data warehousing systems, pricing and contract negotiation with third-party vendors, analyzing pricing proposals, monitoring financial metrics, presenting findings to senior management.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Vendor Management required. Required Skills: Experience with procurement, supply chain management, Visio, Tableau, Power BI, Coupa P2P, Salesforce, database and data warehousing systems, pricing and contract negotiation with third-party vendors, analyzing pricing proposals, monitoring financial metrics, presenting findings to senior management.
