Senior Analyst– Money & Cash.

This is a fixed term opportunity to contribute to the undertaking of policy analysis and research and to address key economic issues and questions related to cash, money and payments.

Te tūranga – The role

As the Senior Analyst you will;

  • Engage and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Contribute to the development of policy to ensure it is practical, robust and fit for purpose

  • Build and maintain competency and capability to deliver outcomes aligned with the teams policy goals

  • Provide advice to policy makers and present material to internal working groups, steering groups and advisory groups, as well as the payments and currencies committee.

This is a fixed term opportunity through to June 2027.

You’ll need:

  • Relevant professional experience with a tertiary qualification in either economics/finance/law and/or public policy

  • A collaborative approach with the ability to identify and influence key audiences

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships particularly with external stakeholders
