We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team, supporting the delivery of insight-led strategies across retail, mixed-use and travel environments. This role sits at the intersection of data, commercial performance and place strategy, helping clients understand how their assets perform today and how they can generate greater value in the future. You will work on high-profile projects including airports, city centre destinations and mixed-use developments, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insight that informs design, leasing and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Insight & Analysis
- Analyse datasets including footfall, sales, passenger data, mobile location data and customer research
- Identify key performance drivers across commercial, operational and experiential metrics
- Build correlation, regression and scenario models to quantify the impact on outcomes such as spend, dwell time and satisfaction
- Translate analysis into clear insights and implications
Commercial & Spatial Modelling
- Support the development of space models (sqm, unit numbers and category mix)
- Build revenue forecasts using spend per visitor/passenger and penetration assumptions
- Apply benchmarking across airports, retail destinations and mixed-use assets
Strategy Development
- Contribute to commercial strategies and place propositions
- Identify gaps in provision and opportunities to enhance performance
- Support the development of category mix and tenant strategies
- Translate insight into evidence-led recommendations
Data Visualisation & Storytelling
- Translate analysis into clear, compelling outputs (PowerPoint, Excel dashboards)
- Create structured, data-led visuals (charts, matrices, frameworks)
- Support the production of client-ready reports and presentations
- Communicate complex ideas in a simple, strategic narrative
Data & Tools Development
- Support the development of internal tools, models and methodologies
- Structure datasets to create a single source of truth
- Work with emerging data sources (e.g. mobile, behavioural and sentiment data)
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in data analytics, consulting or commercial real estate
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience working with multiple or large datasets
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
- Strong PowerPoint and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience in retail, mixed-use or airport environments
- Experience of analytics tools such as Alteryx
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with location or behavioural data
