Job Overview
Responsible for analyzing and articulating complex requirements and the subsequent development of analytical and reporting solutions spanning various business functions. Designs and builds scalable dashboards, tunes performance, and performs quality assurance measures. Interacts with stakeholders across the company related to reporting and analytics initiatives, including business need assessment, prioritization of activities, and change management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise reporting solutions from multiple structured and unstructured data sources including Snowflake and Power BI to fulfill reporting requests with an analytical approach and operating within established development guidelines.
- Lead activities to help understand business objectives, assumptions, and constraints related to a particular question/problem where reporting tools can serve as a solution.
- Build and manage a library portfolio of model metrics, documents, templates, reports, dashboards, or other reusable assets, to understand the daily operations and drive key business decisions.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of data access and data quality across the organization via reporting, ongoing database support, and database maintenance.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related – Minimum
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Computer Science or Information Systems, enterprise-scale reporting systems or related – Minimum
- Demonstrated expertise with Power BI
- Strong SQL skills (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience with DBT a plus
Experience In Lieu of Education:
- 8+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Computer Science or Information Systems, enterprise-scale reporting systems or related – Minimum
